You may have heard the term "grounded" getting thrown around in a Spiritual sense such as 'You're not grounded enough" and you may be wondering what this means? and, how do you go about Grounding yourself. The terminology for "Grounding" simply means that you are living too much in the Spiritual World and have a disconnection to the Physical world we live in..If you are grounded you are like a strong tree, stable and able to handle different weather conditions etc.. If you are not Grounded, you are essentially like a small plant getting thrown around in the wind etc.. You dont need to be a Psychic or into Spirituality to not be grounded, it affects many of us in our daily lives.
A perfect example of someone who isn't grounded would be someone who is not in touch with their emotions... Finding it hard to express themselves or show empathy...they are excessive worriers and dont feel safe or stable in life and the direction its heading..there is also physical side affects such as headaches..
Someone who is well grounded has control of their lives and not obsessing over past or future experiences.. they are stable, secure and content of their life and the direction its taking.
People who are very spiritual are more aware of this feeling of disconnection and it also affects their Psychic Abilities and Empathy traits.
Three ways to Ground yourself are:
1/ Connect with Mother Nature directly through your feet... Either walk barefoot on the grass or go for a walk on the sand and place your feet in the water.
2/Spend some quiet time meditating and lifting your vibration, using grounding crystals such as Hematite, Smoky Quartz or Black Tourmaline.
3/Water- Having an Epson Salt bath is a great way to ground yourself and drinking plenty of filtered water, i.e. no tap water.
Next time you are feeling a little out of sought..try one or more of these methods and notice how you feel after..Being Grounded is important for us Physically, Emotionally and Mentally.
